VANCOUVER -- John Gibson made 37 saves for his first shutout with the Detroit Red Wings, who defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 at Rogers Arena on Monday. Gibson, who was traded to Detroit by the Anaheim Ducks on June 28, recorded his 25th NHL shutout and first since Jan. 4, 2023, a 2-0 win against the Dallas Stars.

Kane recorded his 497th career goal with less than three minutes to play against the Seattle Kraken on at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday, Dec. 6, pulling the Wings into the lead. The Wings went on to win, 4-3, giving them points in four straight games and improving their record to 15-11-3.
