First off, the radar echo is just three times as wide as yesterday's storm. The leading edge of the rain is just coming into LA County now, but there is rain as far as the radar can see, just feeding on more moisture. Second, before the leading edge of the rain I'm seeing lots of t-storm cells building up in the LA basin.
